The Jefferson Pipe Band was formed in 2001. Their first Competition was in 2003. They were moved up to grade 4 in 2019. The band traveled to Scotland in 2017 to compete in the Worlds and 2 other games prior to the big day competing in Grade 4B. They are always looking for new members throughout Northern California and Southern Oregon.

The Jefferson Pipe Band Grade 5 started in 2018. They are an offshoot of the Greater Jefferson Pipe Band. They are the entry level competition band for new members. The band has taken several awards since 2018 (1st place at Woodland & Pleasanton and 2nds and 3rds at Pleasanton. Their drum corps earned the aggregate 1st place at Pleasanton in 2023. The band recently received a special congressional award for its dedication to veterans in 2023.
