The Sacramento Firefighters Pipes and drums is a 501c(3) exempt association founded in 2004 by Sacramento Fire Department firefighters. Band members are all sworn employees who are still working or retired. The band motto is “Honoring the Fallen”. Today the band name is a bit different and draws musicians from public safety agencies in a 120 mile radius from Sacramento. They are guided by the invincible Liz Tubbs.
