Competition Classes:

Piping (Light Music) – Grades 4, 3, 2, & 1
Piobaireachd – Grades 4, 3, 2, & 1
Snare Drumming – Grades 4, 3, & 2
Tenor Drumming – Novice & Intermediate
Bass Drumming – Novice & Intermediate

Prizes will be awarded to the overall winner of each class.

This contest is sanctioned by WUSPBA.

Entrants must have a current WUSPBA membership, or membership in an affiliated association. The last day to enter is Thursday, March 16. Entries for this contest are submitted through and managed by R2. There is no paper entry form. For assistance, please contact

Event Information: Tartan Day Scottish Faire

The 20th Annual Tartan Day Scottish Faire at Ardenwood Historic Farm is presented by the East Bay Scottish Association.

Piping and drumming competitors will receive free entry to the event through the back gate. Friends and family wishing to enter with the competitor should purchase their event tickets in advance through the the East Bay Regional Parks District website. No tickets will be sold at the back gate or prior to 10:00am on the day of the event.
